86 Silverado 454 dually w/ 82k Original :) UPDATED!
« on: May 12, 2008, 05:04:59 pm »
hey there guys, just got this from my grandpa. 1986 Chevrolet silverado w/ 454 all original with 82 000km's =). Lucky enough my old man also happens to be a body  man by trade so were doing this thing up right. STarted last weeekend so check out some of my progress, I dont have to much free time so I only get about 10-15 hours a week on it.

Im looking for a nice set of mirrrors and some ideas with a custom centre console. Also if any of you guys have done some custom audio ill love to see some pictures to get my head going  :o lol

Welcome aboard :)

Glad to see your dually, looks like youve got alot of work ahead of you. Spend the extra mony on a new set of front wheel wells they are pretty inexpensive and the aftermarket ones fit great.

I agree with the wheel wells. Are you shaving the door handles?

You need to take the time to at least prime all the hard work your doing. Bondo is extreamly absorbant will leave moisture against bare metal :o

Heck, even primer does it that to some extent.

Good luck, keep up the hard work.

Curious as to why you welded wings on the vent corners?
