Anyone have pics/info of the bugshields they have on their truck, headlight covers or taillight covers?

I'd like to order some for my dad for father's day and I seen some were listed as 2 piece for 81-87? most I seen were one piece top to bottom, now 73-80 were 2 piece.

Yea we have an 84 so if you got 81-87 pics with headlight covers or bugshields post em up or any 73-87 with taillight covers, slotted or bowtie style. We can't run the taillight blackouts.

So please post up love to see them and wonder what the bugshields and styles look like.

Thanks

I'd stay away frm the bugshields personally. I had a set of headlight covers for my 84 and hated the way they looked so I took them off. I like the ones on my 74 but that's completely different look obviously. I'll dig through some old pix and see if I can find one with the Headlight covers on.

well my old man likes bugsheilds and plus has some paint chips up front he'd like covered until we do the whole truck.

He had and liked headlight covers on his 92 s-10 and my 86 camaro and I liked the look of them on a big 81-87 4x4 I seen.

I like the low profile shields since we have hood scoops but it doesn't matter really.

I also loved the bowtie taillight covers or slotted ones I would not run the blackouts, too hard to see brake lights.

Well to post pics of the GTS headlight covers I had on my 81 2wd Jimmy back in 92, I'd have to dig out the photos and scan them  ;D My brother actually just re-found those things in his basement. I didn't run them for too long as they looked a little goofy since they were just two big flat rectangular pieces of smoked acrylic with some rubber edging that covered up both headlights on each side. What looked way better was when guys would custom make them to cover just each individual headlight. Not the whole bezel, but just the light. I had the tailight covers too but they never stayed on. The adhesive they used on the velcro fasteners was weaker than the strength of the velcro. Smurt.  Gotta love the early 90's!

My dad has one of those bugflectors on his f-150 and he doesn't like how it looks very much, but it keeps the windsheild clean so it's been on there for 8 years now.  He takes it off in the winter when the bugs aren't bad.  Check   trucks catalog, they have some nice ones for 81-87 models, but I can't find any anywhere for 73-80's
