hood pull
« on: June 03, 2008, 03:45:06 pm »
Ok guys, probably another silly question!

I can release my hood by a hand lever through the grill (thats been broken to do so) Did these trucks have a pull release from inside the cab?

cheers as always

yes. I think it started in 1976/77.  Can't remember off the top of my head.

It was an option when it started, not standard.

Typical - never a simple yes or no with this truck! Would the truck have had both from spec?

Maybe an inside-cab hood release by the mid-'80s models; I think my Dad's "old" 1985 C20 had it inside the cab.  But don't quote me!  ???

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Vile is correct.  Checked my notes tonight and it was 77 that it started.
