Power Steering Line Leak - Question

Don't take it the wrong way my friend... I've been doing this all my working life as have some others here and there are lots of tricks of the trade you'll learn when you run into stubborn things.... You got the job done is all that matters now.

Replaced both lines while I had the whole thing out - no leaks whatsoever now.  Replaced the fluid with some high mileage fluid with leak protectant and line conditioner as well.  Hopefully I can leave the power steering system alone for a while now.  (If I ever smell power steering fluid again it will be too soon!)

I have to admit - got a little in my mouth at one point while underneath.  (Should have just kept that to myself.)  The stuff gets everywhere.....that is probably another sign of an amateur.

Nope! that will just help you differentiate your next fluid leak. you'll know if it's power steering fluid or not won't ya?  At least it wasn't gear oil!
