cab mounts
« on: June 16, 2008, 11:42:03 am »
Another Q for you guys out there! I'm thinking of replacing the cab mount rubbers on my crewcab but unsure which to get. I haven't really got to find out if its a 1/2t or 3/4t or do both rubbers fit?

73-87 have different mounts than than 81-87.  73-87 2wd and 4wd are different set.  I think 81-87 are all the same.  There is no difference between 1/2 and 3/4 ton.  Someone correct me if I'm wront but that's what I have dealt with thus far.

Sounds good to you!
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

What exactly is different from 73-87 from 81-87??? Do you mean 73-80 is different than 81-87?

are we saying a "rubber" set for a 2wd 73-80 will fit my '79 regardless of 1/2t or 3/4t?

73-80 and 81-87(91) are different
This is for pickups only: (from what I have found)
73-80
2WD 1/2T ONLY
2WD 3/4T and 1T are the same
4WD 1/2 - 1T are the same

81-87
2WD 1/2T ONLY
2WD 3/4T and 1T are the same
4WD 1/2 - 1T are the same
