Another q-jet question

350 with t-350 tranny.

When you gun the the engine, It takes off prime. You can get all the way up to 55 but then you have to burp the throttle other wise it will stall right out. Any ideas?
Im going to switch carbs with a buddy to try his, i suspect it won't happen with his carb

Sounds like fuel starvation. Check your fuel pump and all of your lines first.
