i have an 84 silverado and im trying to change the pins and bushings but i CANNOT get the old pins out and i have tried supporting the door with a jackstand and have tried to unbolt the hinge from the door with still no luck.. is there any other way to do this???

Ah my favorite tool air chisel w/punch just try driving it out reverse to put back in.

soak it with penetrating oil and use a long punch and a hammer. They'll come out.

well i tried doing the drivers side door since it was the worst i changed the top one and apparently bent the hinge getting it out.. door hangs straight now but the whole thing sits about 1/8 inch lower than it did before and i can see through the slanted part in the front into my truck and it rattles when completely shut.. grrrr im taking it to a body shop tomorrow to have them fix it. this is why i was never savvy with body repairs.. just mechanical stuff  :-[
