It's a fake.  No way four cell phones can produce the amount of energy needed to pop popcorn.  I hope I'm just stating the obvious here.

It's fake, trust me, I know.

When I see stuff like that, I have to find out for sure if it's real or not. You can see people all over youtube who try it but with no prevail. The way it's done is rigging up wires from a microwave magnetron and powering it under the table with the popcorn kernels.

Cell phones produce only one thousandth of the microwave activity a microwave produces. The video posted is a hoax.
