Yes I have a set of them. I also have the Qlogic and the ones Chris sells. The only advantage over the ones you are eyeballing is they clear your parking brake pedal better. Check with Chris bc I know he was having them redesigned to fit better but they angle better at you for sound quality. It's a trade off. If you want this style you may have to modify the parking brake pedal but again I'm not sure since he was having them redesigned.

Capt, I am a little lost here. What is the difference in that area between the silverado and the others? I haven't compared the difference. I have one siverado, the others are bonanza's, scottsdales, or custom deluxes, but didn't know there was a difference. Also, is there a difference between the 73=80's and the 81-87's in this area. I have both, but haven't actaully looked for the difference.

If you look at the full kick panels there is a recessed area in which they can fit on some of them. In the earlier models they were two piece. I'm not sure why it makes a difference if it's a silverado or not because my Scottsdale had the full kicks and my Sierra Grande had the two piece kick panels. My Sierra has the one piece panels and my custom deluxe had one piece with manual vents. So i'm not really sure myself...

I am calling them "Silverado" because all of the trucks with that trim level had full kick panels.  Yes it was an option on the others, but I have never seen a Silverado Trim level that didn't have full panels.  I guess I should put a description in there.

The Non-Silverado Verion RD-3061 fit trucks with half a kick panel that looks like this:

The Silverado version Fits trucks with kickpanels that look like this:

Vile, any pics of the Q-logic ones? They are an audio-based company that put a focus on the sound quality of their pre-fab kick panel products so I'm interested in what they cooked up for our trucks. I just made my own for mine, but I put a 7" B&W midbass in my stock kicks and then made a fiberglass pod for the 4/tweet that sat below where the 7 was. That was just a quick setup. I'm remaking the entire thing for my new system. Should be pretty slick when done.

The kicks we have made were designed to point towards the front as best you can get and still fit in the hole of every truck made without modification, miss the brake pedal and still house up to a 6.5" speaker.

I would go with Capt's kick panels.  Yes the Q-logics are designed for the superior component-type speakers, but there are some very nice coaxials on the market now.  Also Q-logic says the largest midbass driver you can fit is a 5.25" with their kickpanels, whereas Capt's can fit a 6.5" driver.  Also, Q-logics are more expensive.
