a couple of questions

i read somewhere you can use a 12volt battery and a bucket of water to clean rusty hardware . does anyone know how to do this???
Second i am restoring my firewall currently. Does anyone know what to use to seal the airconditioning housing back to the firewall.

I believe you are referring to electrolytic rust removal

Use Butyl (dum dum) tape on your ac box.

thanks for the tips. i am now happily cooking the lower part of my steering column which was very rusty. then i will re lube the bearing. painless rust removal. nice idea.
