Thanks for the thoughts guys. Again thanks for letting me share the bad times along with the good ones with you all. Pretty funeraled out, this better be the last for a while. Had Stevie's back in August, went to one in July for a girl I grew up with, my next door neighbor. Have Kenny's wake tomorrow, and funeral Friday. Went to one last Saturday. My sisters God mother. She was 98, lived a great life, but death is still difficult for the ones left behind.
She taught me something when I was four years old that I still use to this day every single day of my life.

I'm thinking about ya Harold--goin thru some rough times but it'll get better, also, as if it would comfort you, death is part of life that everyone must face sooner or later.

Don, that's pretty cool. I was watching the Skynrd DVD a couple of weeks ago and they mention that on the dvd with Charlie reading it.   Pretty cool.

Yeah no doubt about it death is a fact of life. Spent over three hours at the wake tonight. Allot of crying, but allot of laughing too. No question by the range of people, and ages he touched many many lives in his forty years.
We took him out wheeling to Huntoon Pond two Sundays ago. he was hurting but glad to get out in the woods. Trailriding, and mud ran in his blood. Since he was a little kid he had dirt bikes, three, & four wheelers. Always Chevy trucks, and a couple Blazers.
This is all of us eight days before he passed, at the pond after we cooked out, visited etc. Kenny is second from the left.


The girl Kristina he has his arm around in the picture, she was as close to a child he had. He was her step dad from about 2 years old until she was about 10. Even years after her mother, and her were very close with him. Her boyfriends brother is the 20 year old kid I knew that died the first week of August in the accident.

Tomorrow we lay to rest a gentleman who I have repaired his cars since I was 16. Even after I closed my mobile mechanic service, he would not let me quit working on his cars. I first met him when I was seven, and he gave me alot of advice growing up on how to handle certain situations in life. Harold, it is always hard to lose a loved one, but they are only lost when they are forgotten. We learn so much from the people who pass through our lives. This is our blessing to have these people sent to us in life, to guide us, teach us, to give us the happy memories of the fun times we had, even some of the hard times. These people are always with us, in a sense, that we are often reminded of something they did. I believe this is a gift that God has given us to still enjoy the times we had, even when we are no longer able to put our arms around that friend. One thing we need to learn from them is that they had an affect on our lives in a positive way, we too, need to pass that on and give a positive memory to someone else. My prayers are with you and the family my brother, take care.
