Hey guys, i might be able to pick up a set of rims cheapish but not 100% sure they gonna fit  >:(   The details off the inside are :-

A CHRY P/N-52106367AA   B
0407003  16x8J 5(degree sign) DC T-DOT
Tyre size 285/75-16

they came from a late pick-up, not sure what model but it is single rears like mine not a dually. It looks like they might sit too far in.

could anyone shed any light?

Can you get any pix? That would help determine what they came off of. Most all 8 lugs are interchangable, then main difference is the hole diameter in the center. Chevys are smaller. Ford and dodge 8 lug wheels fit Chevy, but Chevy rims have to be opened up in the middle to fit the other two. The tire size will be about the max size you can put on without a lift, and still maybe close. As far as the offset, sometimes the visual appearance, isnt what it is. Your best bet would be to put a straight edge across the back and measure the distance, and the compare that to your existing wheels.

hole in the middle is same and stud pattern/spacing. cant get to truck to take a wheel off and try  :(

That's a pretty big tire-285. Will you have enough clearance in the wheel well so they don't rub, especially when you turn? Even on the newer Chevy HD'S, there are clearance problems with the 285 tires unless you cut a bit of the well liners..

nice one guys thanks as always. Looks like they're not gonna fit. Tyre size wasn't a problem as i was gonna go supa low profile but they sit too far in (if that makes sense!) so its back to the thought of having mine re-chromed  :(

Hmmm didn't know there was a problem with the newer trucks, have always thought they had more clearence.....   I used to have 285's on my Old '89 K-2500, and I had no issues with clearence what so ever....  When I had them put on, I was informed that 285 was the Tallest I could do on a Stock Height Truck, any taller, I would need a lift kit or bare minimum a body lift.....  When I got my '77, I was still assured that 285's should clear fine, but I haven't had any installed as of yet, as my current tires still have decent tread, and I want to go with a lift(Would prefer to run 305's when I do)......
