Kinda funny, I have never seen one with a 6 in it, not a bad thing, just funny that as many of these as I have had, I never saw one w/ a 6 cylinder

Great looking truck! Is it all original? I have the 250 CID in my 84 GMC 1/2 ton also. I love that old striaght 6-- not glamorous, but it's as strong as an ox! What kind of mileage are you getting? Everyone complains about the integral head on these, I guess I've been lucky so far...

Yes this truck is original. Only thing that has been done is some repaint but no rust.
The gas mileage is not too good I get 12mpg around town. I don't do a whole lot of highway driving so not sure about that.
I have heard a lot of complaints about the integral head too but have not had any problems with it either.

nice truck! Yeah the 6 cylinders never really proved to be very fuel efficient or fun to work on when the intake/exhaust manifold gets problematic. You can always plop in a nice V8 down the road. Did you just get this truck?

I have had the truck for about a year now.
It is my daily driver and has done good so far.
