Also when spraying the colors over the clear coat on your tail gate trim. After you mask it off use a maroon scuff pad the sand the clear for a mechanical bond of the paint to the clear.

definately...  This is why I don't write many write ups. ;D  Always forget something small, yet extremely important...

My camera quit after I only got one pic today... ::)

Here's a pic of the bed all ready to be painted.

They have both fenders and doors off the truck to paint the insides of them and to partially jamb out the cab/cowl.  They will finish jambing out the cab when the fenders are back on and will paint it at the same time as when they paint inside the cab.  They are also painting the underside of the hood.  Should be all jammed out by tomorrow.

I got my tailgate band all finished except for repainting the brackets that go on the back. I had ordered a new set of fender emblems and I broke one messing with it, so I cleaned up the sun thingy and painted the rim black and filled the back in flush with epoxy so I could stick it with tape on the band.

More to come, it's getting real close now!  ;D

Here's today's pics. They have the fenders and doors back on permanently. They already shot the hard to get to stuff like the hinges and such while the doors and fenders were off. They now have the cab wet sanded, and today it will at least get the sealer on it, but will likely get the color on it too. They will paint inside the cab, then the rest of the jambs, and then onto the outer cab, doors and fenders.

Here's a shot of the new color on the inside of the fender. It's a bit dirty from wet sanding around it, but it''ll give you an idea.

Now it looks even better!   ;D  It's got the first coat of color on it, here's some shots in the booth after it dried a bit. They should have the cab-etc and bed done and cleared tomorrow.  It pops in the booth and it doesnt even have clear on it yet!

More progress...  it's about the same as yesterday except today it's got 2 coats of color and 2 coats of clear on it. It's going to be awesome when its been color sanded and buffed! They didn't get the bed done today because the truck had to stay in the booth since it rained really hard all day.
