Alternators

Question- I'm putting a serpentine on my 77. It's got a 305 and a two wire alternator. I ordered the kit from jegs for a serpentine belt and the alternator in the kit has four prongs and an extension to splice on to my exsisting alt wires. Thing is my extension has four White wires and my alt wiring has a Red and a Black. How do I make the two become four?

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

So you are going from an SI to a CS alternator?
There's a zillion articles on this conversion so I won't bother posting the steps...just google it or check this article out even though I didn't read it personally.

Yes, I'm gonna go with the cs alt. So there saying you can get a wiring connector to connect the two?
