Well here it is. I've been posting a lot of questions, and getting really good information and now I've finally got around to taking a few pics. She's definitely a work in progress, but I think I have a really good start. The wheels definitely have to go! I have the original ralleys but I'm not sure if I want to go that route yet.

Right, I hate those wheels. Believe it or not, someone wants to buy them from me. I've attached a picture that shows the side of my truck and the wheels a little better. I've also attached a picture of the ralleys that came with the truck. I'm just not sure if I want to put the effort and $$$ into cleaning them up and buying new rubber for them. I thought that I wanted to keep the truck looking as original as possible but after seeing a lot of the trucks on this forum with larger wheels I'm starting to re-think my restoration plan. I also want to drop it a little too.

That's much BETTER with rally wheels! Perfect match color to that Truck.

Yeah, I dig the rally wheels. There is something to be said for keeping an original look even with a few performance mods. I would definately do the rally wheels with some decent rubber (I'm a sucker for raised white letters) and just a bit of a drop. That's a good lookin' shorty. Although, I am very partial to the 2WD short boxes. I need to get some pictures of my 77 taken and posted here.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yeah, I think I will stick with my original plan. Now I just need to buy some new tires. I like the way 255/70/15's look with rally wheels. That setup along with a mild drop will look really nice.

I don't like either of those wheels to be honest but I definitely like the truck.

Thanks man. I haven't run the exhaust yet. I'm thinking in two more weeks I should be able to work it into the budget.
I already have my x-pipe so I'm ready to rock!

Nah, contrary to the popular vote I'm still a fan of glasspacks. I'll post a sound clip once they're installed.

So I've finally taken some updated pictures. I've recently installed a Belltech 4/6 lowering kit, had a new exhaust system installed, and put some 20s on. So far I'm pretty happy with the transformation. I do think I need to lower the front end another inch or so.
