Hi Guys. First at all, thanks for taking the time to help me out, this site is awesome!!
I got a '77 cheyenne k10 4X4 with a 350 and a th350 tranny, I bought it last year, and I love it.
I replaced the water pump and the fan clutch like a week ago after she left me strand it the middle of the freeway (I'm from AZ, 112 degrees in the shadow) I pull over on time before the water pump broke loose and drain all the cooling/antifreeze. The installation was pretty good test no leaks or over heating, I pull out of my driveway to test drive it it was very nice no more vibration truck was fine, when I comeback I saw marks of oil in my driveway, I thought it was antifreeze but when I look closer It was transmission fluids, then I look under my truck and the oil was still dripping. I start checking where it was coming from and It was coming out from the top of the transmission towards the back of the truck but ONLY when the truck was turn on and in reverse, It looked like a waterfall. This is so weird I check the whole site and nobody seems to have the same problem. The truck have no transmission problems prior to this, never leaked or slip neither the engine. I was thinking maybe the towing truck did something I don't know please help me, All your help will be highly appreciate!!!!
Thanks
