« on: August 30, 2008, 06:27:56 pm »
Hey guys this is my 83 chevy SWB 350/350 turbo . Couple little body mods and bolt ons,Flip kit, spindles, full phantom grill, all steel. I would like to bring it to date soon with either some new 22" wheels and tires and air ride set-up.

This is a truck I had built a couple years ago , Got it painted , Wrecked from stupid tourist , Then Dragged out of town

.... Watch Out ....

Yep they are chevy bow tie brake lites in roll pan , I've never seen them befor I baught this truck nor the front roll pan. I guess a guy was making them and stoped from what my research on here leads me. I'm popping off the oil pan today to confirm if its a 4-bolt main . It dose have a 8" balancer and good engine code 3970010 with a 10/20 high tin and nickle content. We shall see soon!

Welcome from New Hampshaa. Truck is slick!

did you do the body work? What did you use for a tailgate skin? Very nice ride.

I actually have not done anything to this truck I picked it up few weeks ago. And that is not a full tailgate skin . Its just shaved handle and its relocated inside still works like new!

Looks like a full skin to me. GM never offered a full smooth gate.
