Looking at used axle with 3.42's few questions

Found a nice used axle with 3.42's no posi. What would it take to make in a posi rear end.

^ Yep and anywhere from around $500-800 installed depending on who you use and what posi you get.

You need a limited slip carrier. A decent one will cost you around $500 with the necessary parts. If you don't know how to do it I suggest you find a reputable driveline shop to do it for you.
