Got the truck back!!!!

SO im not sure where this is really supost to go but anyways long story short my dad owns a paint and body shop and been doing it for around 20 yrs he restored a 76 gmc swb original 454 had over 12 grand invested took it to car shows won almost best class of all of them well some stuff to the bed and cab started rusting because it just sat in the yard not driven anywhere so he sold it to a young guy he put nothing but speakers in the truck cut a hole in the cab and bed for a blow through box put zebra headliner in it just totally made me sick to see it around town so that guy got tired of it and sold it to one of my class mates and he paid 5,000 dollars for it so I knew I couldnt give him that bc I didnt have much money well luckly I was out the other day and saw it on side of the road in a yard I stopped walked to the door and the lady said 1,500 and its your I smiled went to the house to get the money came back truck was gone I was pissed on way back home the truck passed me so I followed this guy about 45 miles and finally stopped at a gas statin I told him I wanted to buy it told him the story and he said ok so I went home got the trailer and bought the truck its in really bad shape and needs lots of work it got broke into and they stole all the speakers inside got wet and just lots of little things wrong but anyways I got my dads old truck back Im gonna restore it and give it back to him. Sorry for the long story just felt lke telling everyone thanks have a good day!!

Heh, im a member on a couple forums where a post like that with no punctuation marks would have gotten all manner of comments like that... lol. So i guess it's just a habit. At least it helps newer people understand that a post like that is hard to read. And when asking for help (which is a big part of what forums are used for) you want people to at least be able to understand you.

Yea sorry about that guys...but anyways starting taking the truck apart last night and shes down to the frame, and this weekend the block is getting the machine work hopefully before to long she will be back on the road again. ;D

Great story, that's cool you have the truck your dad built back. And for 1500 it sounds like a good deal too. Are those ChooChoo Customs ground effects on it? How long ago was the truck built by your dad? And in one day you have it down to frame? LOL  You work a whole lot quicker than I do!
