i am in the market for a rollpan, most likley from here. only questions i had was for captkaos, is the one you have is it steel or fiberglass?
and last, how does it mount, do i need the bumper brakets to mount it?

It is steel and it welds on.  The bumper brackets are eliminated.

yes, I think you can weld it to the rear cross sill, but I honestly don't know, I prefer bumpers, so I drop ship all of them.

I just finished mine - they weld on the rear fenders and to the rear cross sill piece.  I made mine seamless everywhere it welded to the truck.  I'll show pictures shortly.

Personally I just weld them at the rear fenders because you never know when someone is going to smack your @ss. I usually just put self tapping screws and seam sealer, then paint over it. I'm speaking from experience when a boom truck plowed into my 74 gmc and caused quite a bit of damage.

Welded mine at the fender mounts as well. Never know who may be behind you.

I ised a fiberglass one and didn't fill it in just in case something was to happen it would be easier to fix. But heck I tried to put it up high enough no one could reach it. ha ha.
