'81 305 stock carb

I can't find an answer to my question anywhere. Is the stock 4bbl carb on a 1981 305 square or spread bore?

Quadrajets are spread bore.

Holley's are square bore.

You should have a Q-Jet

Not all holleys are squarebore. In fact, they made a ton of spreadbores.

The factory carb should be a spreadbore qjet from 1981 but it may have been changed before you got it.

Yes holley does make spread bores I 've got a few of them in stock but stock carb is a spread bore.
