leaf spring re-condition.

after i wire brush all the crap off my rear leaf spring should i spray it down with wd-40 or grease after i paint it?  am putting on a lift and my leaf springs are a little rusty on the back and wanted to re- paint them?

Once you paint them just put a little grease on the contact points if you want to where the leaves touch at the ends.
