Heat sink paste
« on: October 19, 2008, 07:41:00 pm »
I got one for ya'll.  I pulled the module from my HEI the other day (don't ask why) and noticed some grease underneath it where the heat sink touch the dist. body.  This is heat sink paste, right?  Where do I pick up some more.  The guys at the AZ looked at me like I was retarded, when I asked about it.

It is di-electric grease, and is used to aid in heat transfer between the two components. Normally they have little packets of it at the counter. It is the same thing used on the spark plug boots.
