I have an 81 C10 in which I have swapped the cab to what I believe is an 83 model. My problem is that after I installed my steering column out of my 81 cab the wiring harness plug that plugs into the column doesn't work. I suspect it has to do with the wipers. My old cab had the 3 speed wipers on the dast above the headlight knob. My new cab must have had intermitent wipers on the column. However my column doesnt have intermitent wiper handle. It is also a tilt column which I must have. Can anyone tell me what column I need, or which harness to use. For now to move it around the paint shop I have a makshift push button start and no gauges except for my 5" tach. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
