Kool Looking Shebby ;D He Looks and sounds like a Kool Neighbor that I had when I was little :o  You used to prounce his Ch's as Sh's, I think that was mainly cause he had an Eastcoast Accent, and always had a wad of chew in his mouth(Former Baseball Player) :-X

Mean truck for sure, but it looked a bit like it doesn't have a Posi/Locker Rear(Left Side started smoking before could see anything from the right... Guess it could have been distance, and Camera angle ???).....

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

I`ll resend him the link but this was his responce:

What's up. Just tried joining that site, and there is no activation e-mail sent to me. Did you have this problem? I tried to e-mail the webmaster and for some reason it wont send because my girlfriends e-mail, who shares this computer was recognized but no e-mail to her either. Engines, mechanics and drums are my strong points, not computers. If you have any advice, I would appreciate it. Thanks. JW.

I got his email and he registered twice and I sent him a response, but I guess he didn't get it.  He needs add webmaster @ 73-87chevytrucks.com to his safe senders.
If that doesn't work I can get around the issue but it may be a problem with yahoo.com blocking.  If that is the case I can fix it but he won't have email notifications from posts.

That burnout is SICK!   No mosquitoes in that neighborhood, they've all packed up and left for a few YEARS!

Thanks guys, I did finally make it on the site. Glad you all liked the burnout, a little childish, but a direct representation of what big block power can do. I have built several Chevy's ranging from a 1973 Cheyenne C-30 454, auto, two wheel drive and 12 foot flatbed. I loved that truck, drove it for a good many years. There were several in between, all within the 73-85 range. The one in the video I got when I was still in high school and it had a 350 and 2 wheel drive. My mother ended up with it after a few years to tow her horse trailer around, and then it was parked and sat for about 7 years in one of her fields. She called me one day and asked if I wanted it. If not, it was getting junked. I have to say it looked pretty miserable, but the chassis was mint. So "project the beast" was borne. I always thought it would look tough with 4-wheel drive and a lift, and a friend of mine was junking an 85 single cab dually 4-wheel drive, with no engine. I'm shure many of you know that the 76 crew cab chassis has no provisions for the swap. It took the winter with lots of measuring and parts fabrication but it turned out real nice. Of coarse the 350 had to go, so I built a 454 4-bolt main, .060 over with 049 heads, Manley 2.19-1.88 valves, Comp 1.550 springs and rotator eliminators were added. Bowl blended, ports cleaned and gasket matched. Combustion chambers were brought down to 118 cc's and the block was zero decked to give the Speed Pro 2645's a comp ratio of 10:1. I went with a Comp Xtreme 4x4 with 210-218 deg.@.050 and .505-.515 lift at valve. Comp pro magnum roller rockers and custom length pushrods brought the valvetrain together It makes tons of low to upper mid range power, just perfect to motivate that big dually. It was topped of with a Edelbrock Performer manifold and Carter 750 carb. I also went with Hooker comp headers, 2.5 dual exaust with balance tube and Flowmaster 50's (which I'm not to crazy about their sound, should have went with 40's). The trans is a TH 400, which I rebuilt with new internals, heavy duty sprague and shift kit. It has a NP 205 transfer case, Dana 60 front, and 70 rear with 3.73 gears. The body needs a little work and a nice paint job, but all in good time. And yes, I am from New York. Anyway, I look forward to spending some time on the forums and contributing what I can. See you all out there.  JW454.
