Successful parts run
« on: November 23, 2008, 07:41:07 pm »
I just closed a really good deal today and got a whole bunch of parts for my "lowbucktruck" project, my old 1973 Chevy C20 beater/hauler/work truck!  Got a whole truck load full of parts from a guy that had a run of bad luck (wreck) and is parting out his 1977 GMC Sierra pickup.

List of parts:
front fenders (inner and outers)
hood (nice and straight)
two bed sides
chrome front bumper
Misc trim
dash/instrument bezel

The hood on my "old reliable" 1973 Chevy C20 is severely tweaked and in need of replacement.  Everything else was a bonus!  ;D

Nice score, lowbuck!

Thanks guys!  I am going back later this week, he has a passenger-side door (almost perfect, with mirror) and some other misc parts for me.  His truck got hit hard on the driver's side, so not much good metal left on that side of his GMC.  Darn shame too.
