Break Lights/Wireing
«
on:

Tonight I went to drive my truck 73' C20 454. When I turned the headlights on all I got was Headlights and front marker lights. No Flashers, Break, Tail or Blinkers. I replaced the brake light fuse and got brake lights and blinkers but still no Tail Lights?
Tips?
Anyone have a wiring digram?

I'd rather push my Chevy than drive a Ford

There might be a wire grounding out in the rear or on the frame to make the fuse blow. check the harness conections too.

Update: When ingtion is on and I turn a blinker on they all flash like the hazzards. If I turn the headlights on with the blinker on it will either flash slow or go solid dim. With the light on I have front marker lights and headlights nothing else on the exterior.
Could it be the turn signal switch?

no, unplug the rear harness connector near the tailgate. Then see what happens when you turn on your lights, signals etc. with the rear lamps out of the picture.

With the rear unpluged the front lights work like they should.

OK so check each bulb socket and make sure the ground wires at each side are clean and tight.

Thanks! It was the left side that wasn't grounded correctly.
