If the hole is to big for the weld to bridge with the mig welder, dimple the hole with a ball hammer then drop bolt in -------- ---------

and weld where the dashes meet the stars at the top. Dont go mad in one go and keep cooling the metal or it'll distort. If any well is proud of the hole grind off flush with panel then skim and sand. hey presto

if you tap the hole inwards 1st then drop the bolt in, the head should be below the panel line. then weld it in and grind any weld flush.
