P.S Floor is in (sorta)
« on: February 16, 2009, 02:25:34 pm »
Well what seems like an eternity I have the passenger floor almost done it is in and tacked just alot of welding left. I want to say Thank You to everyone here without your help I would of never got this far. Now that its done (almost) I think the driver side should go alot faster.

Had to replace the cab support the original was cracked at the support to the foot panel

Here is the rear cab support

Forgot to take a pic of the rear floor screwed down put here it is tacked in

Here is the front screwed down I think it took longer to screw it down then weld it in. I opted to cut a hole in the floor I will make a plate for were the body mount bolt goes

Front Tacked

And the front grinded

The inner rocker came up higher than the outer rocker so I trimmed it down (used the old weatherstripping as a guide)

Going back from the B pillar there is a gap that the floor doesnt cover. I think I am just going to run a flat piece from the B pillar to the rear part of the floor

I got alot of welding left but my old bones have had enough for this weekend

Looks great. Nice to see the plug welds on top of the supports.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
