Replacing Fuel Tanks on TBI truck.

I bought a 1991 3+3, it has a 5.7 with TBI. I want to remove the dual tanks and install one tank either in the bed or behind the rear end. I will make either one out of aluminum, what will I need to do as far as the fuel pump? Can I run an in-line pump? If so what PSI? I know I will need to run a return line, but I'm seeing three lines on the tank, what is the third one for? Any help is appreciated.

Why not run a blazer tank?

And for a TBI you need around 15lbs.  I would put a Blazer tank in it.  I would also use a factory intank pump.
