86 driveshaft
« on: September 19, 2009, 07:31:30 am »
Ive lowered my 86 chevy with a flip kit in the rear, and it has the two piece driveshaft with the hanger bearing in the middle, and im noticing that the driveshaft angle from the tranny to the hanger bearing looks messed up. should I section the mount and weld it back up to correct the angle, or can I replace the hanger and shaft with a one piece driveshaft?

A buddy of mine told me he new a guy who used a 4" aluminum driveshaft  out of a '89 or '90 chevy. Have you heard of this? I guess it would work if I found one the same length.
