On my '86 Silverado, I figure the rear is high enough, so I'll eventually look for a set of 3/4 ton springs for the front.
I may one day do a 4x4 conversion, but that's WAY in the future, so I'd like to make this truck as offroad capable as
I can without spending a fortune. I know it's do-able, as I used to offroad my '74 K10 quite a lot... with no front driveshaft.
I don't want to lift it too much, or go with a specialty suspension, as this truck is primarily a hauler, and I don't want to
damage its utility. I suppose I'll need to carefully ensure that I can self-recover in situations that a 4x4 could have gotten itself
out of.
