Caution! If you do spin the converter around, make sure you put it back in the exact same position relative to the flexplate you started with---this is for balance reasons. In other words, don't rotate from the original position.
i know many think it makes no difference as they may believe that the flexplate and converter are balanced seperately(and they may be right), but it can't hurt to put them in the exact same position as when you started.
i, personally, believe that the ARE indeed balanced together somehow at the factory and thus are mated in that particular position for a reason.
i don't have any solid proof, but it can't hurt anything by putting it back exactly as you found it.
