I have a 73 that had the vapor canister and lines removed and thrown away.   It has one passenger side tank and bad three outlet sending unit. No return line.  I ordered a 1 outlet sending unit.  Is this going to cause any vacuum or pressure problems?  What can I do to prevent a fuel problem without a canister?  I don't have emissions here if it makes a difference. Thank you for the expertise.

I suppose it would be vented to the atmosphere by a vented gas cap.  Are caps without EES, vented? Were single outlet units put on from the factory?    listed the part for 73-74 passenger side tanks.  I just want to keep the system as simple as possible. Should I return the single outlet and get the 2?  I haven't installed it yet.

I would run a 3, feed, return, and vent. You can always cap the return if you decide not to use it.
