i want to shave the drip rails on my truck i was just wondering why i dont see it that often, is it a bad idea because of rust or something? i think it will make it look a lot cleaner.

I have 3 trucks without them. They look good with or without it's just personal preference. They aren't a rust issue on these trucks.

I like the shaved look but we get too much rain here to do it to a daily driver.

Mine are shaved, i like that look better. I might regret it though when using it as a daily driver.

I shaved mine also might put them back on cause you always get dripped on when ya open the door and it rains hence the name drip rail
but it looks good
