shaved drip rails?
« on: March 26, 2010, 03:26:27 am »
i want to shave the drip rails on my truck i was just wondering why i dont see it that often, is it a bad idea because of rust or something? i think it will make it look a lot cleaner.

I have 3 trucks without them. They look good with or without it's just personal preference. They aren't a rust issue on these trucks.

yeah my truck already has the back piece gone. that truck looks way nice, without widows looks like it has the 1-piece windows, haha. is that going stepside or fleetside?

I like the shaved look but we get too much rain here to do it to a daily driver.

Mine are shaved, i like that look better. I might regret it though when using it as a daily driver.

I shaved mine also might put them back on cause you always get dripped on when ya open the door and it rains hence the name drip rail  ;) but it looks good

I have my drip rails but no windshield wipers, go figure.
