Wouldn't that be the fly wheel out of the bbc?

it's for a 4 wheel drive 91 700r. the 454 motor came out of a 93 1 ton dually with the 4L80e 2 wheel drive chevy. the torque converter from the 1 ton is bigger than the 700r from the k5, so the flywheel won't match up to the 700r.
can anyone help?

There is a 10-3/4" and 11-1/2" converter bolt pattern, you have to know which one you need to get a part number. If the 700R4 converter is to small you need the smaller bolt pattern.

ok let me try to figure this out, is the flywheel from the big block and the year of the big block? Is the torque converter from the big block or the stock motor?

I ask because the stocker would be a 1 piece rms and the big block may not be, aint sure, that could be the difference. That and some flywheels are dual drilled. does yours have 6 holes? if so did you try to rotate it to the next hole and try it?

Now another thing on some of the older trucks and cars at least small blocks, not sure on big block they have a 168 tooth flywheel and a 153, which would be smaller. Maybe if this is the case you need the small flywheel.

Just get a dual bolt pattern flexplate applicable to your engine
