Yeah I've been using that site alot to identify parts for my truck, seems to be very in dept. With all the areas that I want to work on still trying to figure out where to start lol. Got the front end body parts all apart (hood, fenders, radiator support, ect). Will pull motor/trans and take bed off Thursday and maybe try to slide cab around to clean up and paint frame. Once frame is done think I will order body mounts and remount and begin work on it. Rust prevent paint and maybe try that Lizard Skin. Still working on it though, all depends on budget. Trying to build strong truck and make it last awhile so I dont want to skimp out but I also don't have cash laying around lol.

Got some pictures of progress figured I'd post em up

Got the new door on too

Pressure Cleaned the trans, it was pretty nasty

Had a question about this, is this a 4x4 Hub? Truck is not 4x4

No, I think thats a wheel adapter for your blazer rims if I think thats what you mean

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

Id say its more of a spacer than an adapter.

I was wore out and done working when I got there, so didn't look to much into it. So the more silver part should slide off and it will look right? That makes sense lol

yea those are wheel spacers since you have gmt400 wheels on it which have ALOT of backspace to them, my guess they put em on and the backspace casued interferance with something like suspension or frame and they bought them instead of just buying wheels that fit. I don't like the wheels on a gmt400 let alone a squarebody. So yes the silver part comes off and it goes back to normal.

I got the same jackstands lol.

First time I ever saw the long tail th400.

Yeah the wheels will be gone asap lol. These stands we're pretty cheap and work well, think I got them at Sears. Whats the difference in the TH400 long tail? Obliviously its longer but is there a reason for it?

just depend on the application and driveshaft length. I think it's a "truck thing" to have long tails or something most of the stock th350 trucks were/are long tails.

I thought the s-10 blazer was 5 on 4-3/4? They're 5 on 5?

s-10's are definately 5x 4-3/4 but those wheels came on 88-98 2wd trucks too which are 5x5.

Hard to say but I'd measure the bolt circle of the wheels and see what they are.

Those are S10/Blazer 4x4 wheels. They obviously say 4x4. And those are adapters to run said wheels as they're indeed 5x4.75 as opposed to the 5x5 on 2wd fullsize trucks.

yea they look the same. I couldn't tell what they said on them, but yea s-10's are 4.75 bolt pattern same as gm rear wheel drive cars except for like tri-5's and such that have 5 on 5. You could keep them on there and find car wheels or something for maybe more options on wheels, or take em off and run truck 5on5 wheels.

How many rattle cans will it take to paint my frame?? Looking to order some of this.

http://www.eastwood.com/the-original-chassis-black-satin-finish-set.html?SRCCODE=1EM0357&utm_content=1EM0357&utm_campaign=08-19+20%25+Off+Eastwood+%27s+Original+Chassis+Black!&utm_source=iPost&utm_medium=email

After reading some more I'm now considering Chassis Saver. I have a spray gun but its tip is for paint, would I be able to spray this or would I need a bigger tip? Also how much would it take to paint frame with spray gun, found a Pint of CS for $35

Some may think I`m crazy, but theres just something about the 8 inch wide stock rally wheels that really does the trick for the squarebodies.
