I would start looking/prying around at the engine & transmission mounts. Since you didn't mention how/when the vibration occurs,I'd suggest to start there. More details of how/when it vibrates may help someone to better pinpoint your problem. Lorne

Carrier Bearing maybe? 2pc driveshaft?
There are two tools needed, duct tape and WD40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD 40.

does the vybrashun get worse with higher speeds?  Get her going fast and put the trans in neutral, does the vighbrayshon disappear?  how 'bout when you give her gas while coasting--does it still occur?

A vibraehtion could be the wheel, driveshaft, trans, engine, tire....you need to rule a few things out by a few simple procedures.

Did you check the U-joints? Maybe that's where the vibrayshun is coming from

could be a u joint or trans mount craw under the truck and just start trying to move the trans and twist and shake the drive shaft and see what you find

Wow, thought I was the only redneck who didn't know how to spell.  LOL   When you mashed on it, are you getting any wheel hop at all in the rear?  Which when it starts can move through frame to front.  Common on jeeps and lighter 4x4's, just another thought...Tom

For the most part I'd agree with you beastie, but I live up here in the north and would rather call myself a redneck than a bleeding liberal. LOL

What are the odds of Massachusetts and California teaming up and breaking from the union to start the country of CaliChussetts or MassaFornia?  That would be great for the rest of us.
