2" Spindles in the front, then shackles and hangers for the rear. A nice simple 2/4 drop.

I've been seeing spindles on Craigslist for $100 and less, shackels and hangers would be about $120 depending on the source. Plus $65-80 for drop shocks for the back. Drop shocks aren't needed on spindle only drops because you aren't changing the distance from the mounting points.

I wonder what it would look like with just using 2" shackles in the rear???  I'm sittin on 22's but don't want an extreme drop either...

A shackle drop in the rear would prolly look killer with your 22's. It help fill in any gap in the wheel well.

Its primarily just swap one part out for another, the hangers in the rear take some work because of the rivets. Also if you do a flip kit, you need to measure, cut and drill your frame. I'll do a write up with pictures when I do my 74 in a few months.

for 2" in front you would be a little better off just getting the 2" lowering springs.

When you use the longer shackle hanger in the rear, you have to notch the bed brace just above it for clearance.

And hangers typically need the pinion angle checked.
