Adjusting Door Question

So I'm probably going to sound like an idiot cause I went to auto body school but I can't seem to figure out how to slide the door back as in close the gab between the rear of the cab and back edge of the door. I took the fender off and loosened the 3 bolts on the bottom hinge where it connects to the cab, then the 2 on the top hinge. But there is also another one on the top hinge where instead of a bolt head, there is a nut welded to the hinge and looks like a bolt going from the inside of the cab to the nut, but when I looked under the dash and everything there was no bolt head anywhere that would allow you to loosen it. If anyone can help that would be awesome.

Well I was working on the passenger side but do they have like caps or something over them cause the glove box is out and I was looking and feeling in there but there was no bolt heads. I found a round spot kinda by the dash where it looks like it is but it was smooth. I'll have to look better tomorrow.

remove the grommet for the door jam switch wiring and it's a straight shot to the bolt.

Tape the socket on the extension if you don't have the kind that lock on

Just thought I would let everyone know I figured it out. Turns out that flat part where the bolt when to was a plug/cap thing that was covering up the head. Got the door adjusted so it shuts like new.

That plug thing is the grommet I mentioned above. Glad you got it adjusted. Make sure your hinge bushings are good and striker bushing is in tact.

Good advise. I dropped the bolt down there once, took a while to get it out.

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!
