The battery box is from Allstar - part number 76100. Dont know if summit or jegs carries them, probably some on ebay. They make a lot of parts that are "branded" by smaller companies. They're like an IKEA for automotive stuff, you can look through the catalog and by the time you get to the end you found 10 things you need that you didn't know you needed.
Got my timing cover and oil pan back from cleaning - oil pan reassembled, new seal in the timing cover, put it all back together. If today is nice, might get out the wire wheel and clean'er off and do some painting.
Allegedly this is gonna be a running driving burnout machine in 31 days, I'm staying optimistic.

battery mount is mounted and painted. put the least amount of effort into changing a heater core that I've ever done in any vehicle.
If it doesn't storm too crazy later gonna try and get the engine bay degreased, if it does storm crazy, it might get degreased anyway because the hoods off.
gonna order some new perches for the rear axle, this two piece drive shaft pinion angle calculating is kind of confuzzling.

That's the actual motor.... In the engine bay, bolted in and everything.
on the lower headlights, or whatever those things are, those mounting holes dont actually line up, fit really crappily, very loose etc. anyone got any ideas as to why? wrong lights? definitely not a warpage issue, they just dont line up.
my truck had the extra lights in the lower corners of the grill, but the sockets were spliced in to the head light wiring. cruddy retrofit somewhere along the line?

Drivers side manifold refurbed and installed, tranny cooler mounted, needs moved. Mock up motor back on a stand to Fab up wastegate pipes and finalize hot side pipes.
looks like some sort of sculpture, but thats the basic idea.
