Multiple distributor questions...
« on: March 28, 2011, 07:21:23 pm »
I have a '76 C20 350/350 4BBL Quadrajet. The carb on the truck has many vacuum lines plugged off. According to the manual, one of the vacuum lines goes to the vacuum advance for the distributor, but the distributor on the truck does not have a vacuum advance port.

Can I put a new distributor on with a vacuum advance port? Also, when trying to buy a distributor, it asks for w/governor or w/o governor? Where do I look to know if I have a governor?

Thanks for any help you can give.

A regular 4 pin hei would work fine for you . You would put it on a vacuum source that increases with rpm

That's weird. I only had the one PM from you. I'll try and get a pic up soon of the distributor I have.
