I took apart the front suspension from a 78 GMC 1/2 ton today and I had my "good" scale out so I decided to weigh the parts. This should help out some of you guys who are looking for weight reductions and wondering what's worth swapping out. I was looking for light weight alternatives for my race truck and knowing what I'm starting with always helps me decide if it's worth replacing. So here it is. I hope this helps someone other than myself.
