Wiring an amp

I'm not too good at the whole wiring thing...wanted to know if any of you knew if it is possible to run 4 speakers plus a sub off of a 2 channel amp. I figure there is someway to split the signal, but I don't know how.

Not without blowing up the amp! Why don't you either run a high output stereo 4 channel and use your 2 channel bridged to your sub or just get one 4 channel amp?

I wasn't going to actually try it. I didn't think it would be possible, but I just wanted to hear it from someone who knows more about this stuff than I do. Thanks for the reply.

u can run an entire system off a 2 channel amp. It's not easy, and you have to have a very good 2 channel amp...

You could actually wire the main speakers in 8 ohm series and then, depending on the amp, bridge the sub. It's called a 2+1.
