Dang. That's the worst mileage yet. Hole in the tank? You think I'm joking but I actually had that problem once on a 93 cavalier.

I think I had a similar problem, on the same year/model once. Hated that car.

You need scan data so either using a scan tool or software such as winaldl

I imagine it does, being TBI. I had the throttle body replaced not long after getting it though with a used one. No telling if it's the wrong one. At least for me, I can't tell.

is there an oxygen sensor on the exaust? if there isnt that might exspain some of the issues.

with the in tank pumps theres a rubber fuel line between the pump and assembly. it can and will rot out causing the truck to run like crap. new pump comes with this line its thicker for the "new" gas. on replacing the pump its easier to just slide the bed back its only 8 bolts and a couple for grounds one near the tank and another on the left rear near the lights.

I think, given my funds, bills, and lack of employment right now, I might have to just part ways with the family truck. If somebody in my area wanted to do some driveway maintenance, I'm all for it, but I don't have the space and tools for it right now. Definitely not enough money to hop into a shop.
