Caster/Camber

I'm thinking of doin a 2/2 drop on my '86 swb c-10, but I think the 2" springs will mess with the caster and camber.  Do you think it will make my front wheels tilt in a little?

When I first lowered my truck I used a 3 inch Eibach lowering spring without any alignment or ride quality problems.  You should be fine.

Anytime you take your suspension apart and replace components you need an alignment. Don't try to save $50.00 by skipping an alignment because you will end up spending more than that replacing chewed up tires.

Thanks for the help guys, that makes my decision easier now.  Now my choices are 2/2 or a 3/4.  I want to keep my '86 classic, but with a modern twist.  You know what I'm sayin.

Maybe I didnt understand the question... It is correct you will need an  alignment, what I was saying is that your truck will still be able to be within specifications.

By placing in a shorter spring the camber angle will change more negative.

when you are just adding dropped spindles, camber is not effected.....when you add dropped springs or cut coils from the stock springs, then you will change camber. I agree, always get alignment checked from a know shop that will deal with lowered vehicles.
