Resto almost done, extra wires (engine harness)

About done with the resto on my 77 K15. Using a wiring harness off an early 80's no A/C 2wd Chevy. Everything is about plugged up at this point but we still have:

Thick Orange wire (10 or 12 gauge wire)
Skinny Green
Skinny pink (this wire is long)
Tan (propertioning valve?)
Also a plug with 3 wires coming out of it- Pink or orange with white stripe, a black wire and a dark green or dark blue colored wire.

Where do these wires go? THANK YOU!!!!

     There might be several wires with those colors you are talking about.  Things we need to know so that we can help you.
     1:  Where do the wires you are talking about generate from ? ( fuse block, front engine connector block, etc. ).

     2:  The 80 truck that you are using the wiring harness from, how is it different from yours, ex. 80's had electric choke and yours does not.  Cruise installed and yours does not. etc.etc.  Anything different will make a difference in wiring. 
     3:  The wires you are describing, do they look factory installed, or do they look like someone else installed them ?
     Since you are not comparing apples to apples, but a apple to a orange, it is all in the details.  The more detail you can be, the better we can help you out.  If you just do not know, then asking if someone has experienced your problem is the next best choice.
     And of course, PICS ARE WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS in cases like that.

Tonka, show us the connectors at the ends of the wires, as well.  In addition, show us where they exit the loom or firewall, run in the engine compartment, etc. - anything that might make it easier to discern these wires from others with similar colors.

The tan wire with rubber pancake boot in the upper image is for the oil pressure gauge sender.

Thanks BD. We literally pulled this harness off the ground and pretty much buried with leaves. It had been out of its original truck for 4 years.  I will get some better photos tomorrow. Thank you for your help

All of it is coming out of the engine harness.
Green should be the coolant temp, brown (tan) looks to be the oil pressure.

The three-wire connector plugs onto an oil pressure switch for the electric choke circuit.  I agree, the green wire is coolant temp sensor.  Show us the 'free' ends of the wires with their plastic connectors and/or terminals.  Use the diagram Captkaos posted.

Hey TONKA in one of your pics I see you have (i think) those Halogen headlights, in saying this, do they make a big difference, are they worth it ? I was thinking of getting them.

@81GMCBill I will let you know as soon as I turn the key and lights work! It's been a 5 year frame off resto. We've changed so much it's like a whole new truck. I also used reproduction l.e.d. 31 ford tail lights on custom mounts. All of this resto was done in a muddy backyard with the exception of the paint of course.
