Good news though.... The big block is ready to run with the exception of the power steering pump pulley , lower cradle bracket, and waterpump pulley.... Should be starting the engine here by this upcoming weekend.... I'm stoked! I'm having a business in town that does custom metal fabrication build a custom built flatbed with tool boxes all the way around except the bumper area. Lightbar up top on the headache rack, with fog lights facing forward and backward, winch built into headache rack, and hydraulic lift installed for bed. That will take place here in 3-5 weeks I'd say. So I'm pretty excited about that. And more tires will be added to the rear end to make it a dually.... Only reason I'm going this far with it is because I need a solid work truck for the fire mitigation and fire wood business.... After it's all said and done and everything is taken care of I will probably look for a decent used 2nd truck ( chevy) that can be a backup vehicle. Ie if I know it will involve sketchy work areas I will bring the beater truck lol....because the dodge ram I'm driving is on it's last legs and just doesn't have the ability to do this kind of hauling / demanding work anymore, the dodge will just be a truck used for A to B driving... Or if my wife needs the truck for the day kind of thing.... Would love to get a truck with a fresh 350 in it behind a th400 or sm465 trans , 4x4 of course.... I don't know we will see.... The need for a solid truck is definitely there, the dodge is only going to be on the road for so long, definitely going downhill, this truck will be the main truck I use everyday. Would be nice to have a truck that's powered by a 350, but I have to talk to my wife for her approval...... Lol....... I'm just counting down the days to finishing this truck..... I am stoked about it.... It's nearly done
